BOAT and BUS PACKAGE

This trip only happens when birds are ready to be released at sea.We depart from the Waterfront and normally drop of the birds off the coast of robben island .

After an enquiry we put you on a booking list and we will call you when the next release is due.

SANCCOB has responded to every oil spill along the South African coast since 1968, and continues to treat about 1,000 oiled, orphaned, ill and injured African penguins every year that there is not a major oil spill (and thousands more when there is an oil spill incident). 

An adventure cruise to this remote Island situated 55 km from Cape town and approximately 10 km west of Ysterfontein .

• Routing would be weather dependant
• From Cape town is takes between one and a half to two hours to reach the island on the Jet Boat.
• After visiting the island we take the short trip to the slip way at Ysterfontein and return by road.
•  Minimum 6 persons.

Depart from either Simonstown or Millers Point and embark on a JETBOAT excursion and skim along the swells towards the Famous Cape Point.

The Skipper will tell you stories of shipwrecks, sea monsters, ghost ships as well as shipwrecks the other historically significant details that make the Cape of Storms so notoriously famous.

A Cruise from Millers Point slipway to Seal Island False Bay.

This cruise requires an early start before sunrise to get ahead of the weather.Expect a memorable day as the JET BOAT takes us out of False Bay towards Seal Island,.

Once out at Seal Island the boats stop their engines. We are left to wait for a possible view of sharks as early before dawn in the calm waters of the bay the sharks threaten the seals of the large colony. The area has one of the world’s densest populations of great white shark that lurks below the surface of the water however we can never guarantee that we will see this spectacle every time. The probability that it will happen, however, is higher here in False Bay and at Seal Island than in most other places.

Just to stay and wait for us to enjoy this is an experience in itself. While we wait, we have the opportunity to study the approximately 70 000 seals that populate Seal Island.Minimum 8 persons.

Sail from the V&A Waterfront and participate in an exhilarating drumming session on board.

Music has long been used as a method to unify groups, and today, is still being used for that purpose. Take the challenge of drumming while sailing and getting the sound to surround the yacht using groups on different sections of the vessel.
